Seddon, Australia: Leo the dog refused to leave his burning house even though the other dog and his humans had all escaped. The family insisted that Leo and a box of kittens still needed to be rescued. The mother cat was no where to be found, but firefighters went back into the burning house and found an unconscious Leo, and next to him a covered box of kittens. 11 month old Leo was given oxygen and was revived. The kittens were all okay--the house is a total ruin though. The Firemen even allowed Leo to see and lick the kittens, and they are going to nominate Leo for the RSPCA Bravery Medal.
