Surry County pound bans volunteer for taking photos | FixNC

The Surry County Shelter (NC) didn't want to take calls for pictured animals at their facility because most of the time the animal has already been killed. You see this shelter has a 90% kill rate, and they seem to like it that way. Saving a life would get it the way of their killing machine. P.S. one of the reason a dog will be euthanized here is heart worms--a completely treatable problem now--rescues and adopters take dogs with  heart worms all the time.
