Thought I posted earlier about the dog Sandbag who British troops adopted but were afraid he would be killed once they left Iraq (UK wasn't willing to let him come home with them). Anyway he is now going to UK with his one remaining pup Dirtbag. It's not clear to me how he ended up on the streets when another Brit Unit had been watching out for him.
