"The Highwayman" was written in 1906 by Alfred Noyes. It haunts me, which might not mean much considering a lot of things do and Loreena McKinnett's version is the best. This YouTube video uses Gerard Butler as the Highwayman and Juliette Binoche as Bess. The other video is a reading of the poem itself by David Shaw Parker.
